The Ghanaian Government will in 3 years build Africa's tallest building that is will be modeled like the traditional Ghanaian round thatched houses used long long time ago.

System of bridges linking all 6 Towers and protecting basic amenities

Hope city will be modeled like the Old houses
The 75-story, 270 meter-high building that is expected to be the highest in Africa. A system of bridges at different heights will link the towers together, creating a circular connection between the buildings' functions and public amenities. OBR co-founder Paolo Brescia says the project's goal is to create a living place of discovery and exploration that reflects the trad

It will cost the Ghanaian Government US$10Billion to set up the tech Hub in Western Africa come June 2013. The newly warmly acceptably elected President John Dramani Mahama has re-emphasized the importance of growth to the country's economic sector via private sector RLG Global has partnered with the Ghanaian Government for the mind blowing innovation. The $10 billion high-tech hub is aimed towards the attraction of major players in the Global ICT industry to the and enhance technological growth. One thing that gives me joy in this project is the short time frame i.e {June 2013 to 2015} if the project can actually speedup to completion then for sure, Ghana has done more than enough in sending a loud message and also that will consolidate Mahama's position as the president.

Well it is obvious Ghana wants to move away from dependence on Gold and Timber into Technological advancement 'to my mind' it is a giant stride i like, i want to see more of this

From the acronym of Home Office People Environment the city will be named Hope city and it will have the capacity to house 25000 people also ensuring job availability for 50,000 people. This is a nice way of using many birds to kill one stone i just can't wait till 2013 when the project will be complete

2.8 Million Square meters of land reclaimed by sand dredging to signal completion of first phase Eko atlantic
Numerous African countries have embarked on such expansive projects, with the Tinapa resort Center in calabar Nigeria already a reality, the Eko Atlantic city in Lagos in which i have gone through some of these projects and it is interesting how difficult claiming of land is, i must congratulate the lagos state Government for the feet achieved and i hope that all these projects listed will be completed in due time for the enhancement of the African community at large.

Also in recent times at Kenya was a ground breaking ceremony for Konza City also an ICT Hub that will cost the Kenyans  over $14 billion

There are many more large scale projects like this and i will be updating weekly about others i've not written about or you can simply comment below to inform me so i add it up in summary.

I hope during one of my trips to the Model and Statutory improving country: Ghana, i will have to lodge in Hope city come 2015.
