Do you know that you can choose any kind of jewellery you like print it and use for any event then when you are done grind it up to use for another future event? Yes every industry is jostling up to explore the huge potential made available by 3D printing.

Materials and cost
  1. Major material used is the PLA (Polylactic Acid) is an extremely awesome polymer for many reasons. It's bio-friendly, as it's made from corn, which is a renewable resource. PLA is biodegradable, which means it will break down in a landfill. It has an extremely low shrinkage factor, which means it resists warping, even at very large print sizes. It can be made in any colour to suit the you
  2. ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is considered to be the second easiest material to work with when you start 3D printing. ABS is an engineering polymer commonly used to produce car bumpers due to its toughness and strength. It’s also the stuff that Lego blocks are made of…tough enough but safe enough for the kids to handle!
Please note however, consideration must be made when printing larger objects – thermal stress can cause ABS to warp as the part cools.
ABS is suitable to make light, rigid, molded products with good shock absorbance and wear resistance.
ABS is available in white, black, red, blue, yellow and green colors and has a matte appearance. (turbocad)

For both 1.75mm could range $60-$70

3D printing is going to be Awesome, however, i am still skeptical on the prospects of plastic ammunitions, even with metals guns, we are not safe talk-less of having a scenario of plastic ones metal detectors will fade away. This remains the biggest challenge to this awesome tech. Another prospect i see is a new business for 3D artiste, graphics designers, so start enhancing your 3D skills
